July 16-18, 2009: The Conclave Learning Conference at the Sheraton Bloomington South in Bloomington, Minnesota.  This is the 34th annual management and programming conference for the broadcast industry.  For more information, including a complete agenda, go to theconclave.com.

September 10, 2009, 7:30 P.M.: Twin Cities Children’s Television Show Night at the Heights Theatre in Columbia Heights.  We will be showing rare footage of Twin Cities television shows; most of which has not been seen since it first aired. We will also feature guest appearances by some of your favorite children's television show hosts. Scheduled to appear are: Miss Betty of Romper Room, Daryl Laub of Skipper Daryl and T.N. Tatters, Mary Davies of  Carmen's Cottage and Axel's Treehouse, Allan Lotsberg (Willie Ketchem), Al DeRusha, Judge Robert Awsumb, and Loren Dwyer. Tickets are only $10 for Museum sponsors & Blockheads; $15 for non-sponsors. The show begins at 7:30 p.m., but come early for best seating.  Meet Julian West, author of What a Card, who will be selling and signing books in the lobby. Reserved seating is available for Museum sponsors at the Spark Circle and higher levels.

October 10, 2009: The Ninth Annual Museum of Broadcasting Hall of Fame induction ceremony at the Metropolitan Ballroom and Clubroom in Golden Valley, Minnesota hosted by Louie Anderson and Cyndy Brucato.

November 7,  2009: Magnets to Megahertz    begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Museum.  This is our Saturday morning class for children ages 10 to 14 who are seriously interested in learning about electricity and electronics. For more information about this class and other educational programs at the Museum, go to http://www.museumofbroadcasting.org/education.html
