Al De Rusha was a producer and director at WTCN-TV for 20 years and a producer, director, referee, and ring announcer for Verne Gagne’s American Wrestling Association for 15 years.

Steve Linder has been in radio for more than 40 years. He owns Lakeland Broadcasting’s family of four radio stations in West Central Minnesota: KWLM, Q102, BIG Country 100.1FM, and The Train 106.5.

Paul Douglas is a nationally recognized meteorologist, author, serial entrepreneur, and 40-year radio and television broadcaster.

 
John O' Rourke

John O’Rourke, the “Voice of Austin, Minnesota,” was a longtime broadcasting instructor at Riverland College, mayor of Austin, and news director at KAAL-TV and KAUS Radio.


Doug Johnson

Doug Johnson has spent 50 years in the industry, including 35 years as general manager and part owner of KKOJ-AM/KRAQ-FM in Jackson, Minnesota. He continues his family’s proud legacy as a Minnesota broadcaster.

 
Raven and Ron Schara

Ron Schara is the producer of Minnesota Bound, winner of six Emmy Awards, co-host of Live Outdoors, a former outdoor columnist for the Minneapolis Tribune, a gifted storyteller, and the owner of Raven.


  Odis "Oats" LeGrand

“Oats” LeGrand (deceased) called more than 4,000 local sporting events in the Fergus Falls Lakes Area and was recognized as the “Voice of Small Town America” by Sports Illustrated.

 
Sue Zelickson

Sue Zelickson has more than 40 years as a Twin Cities restaurant and food reporter. She is a James Beard Award winner and very actively gives her time, talent, and treasure to a variety of worthy causes in the community.

Rey Lark

Rey Lark (deceased) was known by everybody as “Radio Rey,” a selfless and dedicated engineer who worked at many stations throughout the Midwest, including KDWB/630 and WYOO. He later founded WXCE/1260 in Amery, Wisconsin. 

 


The 2015 Minnesota Broadcasting Hall of Fame
will be a gala event starting with a wine reception at 6:00 pm
and unlimited appetizers throughout the evening.
The awards program will begin at 7:30 pm.

 

Cost for the event is $150 per person.
A regular table for 10 is $1,400.
Premium tables (seat up to 10) are $2,000 each.
